HELLO 👋 HOW HARD TO TIGHTEN HELICOPTER BLADES?
Tighten them so that they can hold their position with the helicopter side ways. However if you shake the heli a little they should be able to move a little without fully folding. Basically they should be able to move will little finger pressure but no so tight that it’s hard to move them or to loose that they are sloppy.
@@33forsaken THANK YOU. LOOK, AT THE FIRST PUSH, THE ROTOR ACCELERATION, THE BLADES SHIFT A LITTLE 🤏 IN THE GRIP. I TIGHTENED IT SO THAT THEY DON'T MOVE AT THE FIRST ACCELERATION OF THE ROTOR. WILL THIS WORK??? GOOD?
@@33forsaken IF YOU TIGHTEN TOO MUCH, WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
@@very9000 no that to tight. The purpose is that upon start up, centrifugal force will pull the rotors straight center. So if they are to right you will vibration and shakes, even possible tip over. But if it’s to loose, upon landing and rotor slowing down the blades can collapse and also cause a tip over. I hope that helps clarify
@@very9000 if the rotors are to tight then the spinning force of the rotors cannot properly center the blades while operating. It’s very important to not clamp the blades down to a point that they are fixed in place.
lol my engines just cut the ties, then i was screwed becasue i had loads of plastic stuck up in there, dont work unless sleeve loose
@@blameusa7082 you can use somthing other then a zip tie. The purpose is to show that with a soft material and enough pressure it will slip. There is of course situation where it will not work due to motor condition.

How do you control your governor if you are using Aux2 for the glo plug ignighter?
@@fredmillard5018 the GOV is being controlled by the FBL. And also power is split between a harness.

Awesome..but can't concentrate w the music...why!! You're a great teacher..you don't need the fluff and it ruins it
super beginner here so first, Thank you for posting this explanation. I was wondering how the pitch curve begins at throttle setting of zero along the X axis, but the curve of the pitch is zero along the Y axis...mid way up, and not beginning at the same point as the throttle. .but, then I realized..i think, that there should probably be a horizontal line at the 0 pitch delineating positve and negative pitch .. is this correct? Or possibly the curve could begin at zero ON the X axis, and progress in the negative direction.. Im confused
I long for the day when utubers stop showing off. Just give us the facts We neither care what your call yourself or your taste in music.
Hello , I'm new to Helicopters . I have a 450 SE . My question is the top or large gear spins as it should but the smaller bottom gear witch is the main drive gear doesn't spin at all . Have I forgot part of the Radio commands?. Thanks , Bobby M.
@@Dynaglide92rc most helis these days have a two gear stack of some sort. One spins free because it does not engage the one way bearing in the center. This is designed so that while the motor or power source is engaged the main rotor will also engage. Once throttle hold is applied or the power source dies. This one way gear will allow the main rotor to still spin free and thus allowing the heli to perform an “ autorotation “. I hope this helps
Wow needed this thanks Freddy
Freddy, Thanks for all your videos. Do you have anything on the GeoLink yet. Running into a problem in getting Both a Stabilization and Rescue set up on my IX 12
Hi Freddy I’m setting up a 5.5, xnova 4020-1350kv (6mm shaft) and Hobbywing 120a esc. Drive train is smooth as butter. At 75% throttle (Futaba) im getting just 1850 head speed. Is this correct? I have both the stock 14th (6mm) pinion and the next pinion up - 15 tooth. I’m running the 15 tooth now. ESC end points done and RPM standardisation completed on the Hobbywing 120 esc. Nubby here...got alot to learn when i get a heli. Good stuff 👍☕️☕️✌️

Where can I buy this gauge or a similar one with roll and pitch?
Hey Fred how do you set zero pitch and I’d it that important on these micros? In normal 3D mode it isn’t zero at mid stick but it is in idle up. Is that what matters and should you level your swash in idle up? Thanks. I guess levelling a swash and setting zero pitch are different things? Would you have to turn links and should it also be a zero pitch in normal mode? Sure seems to fly rock solid with no drift regardless. Thanks.
does it have tree glow power level settings ?
Freddy, new to the hobby, I am using Spirit 2 and following your great videos ! When I level the swash then go to pitch range I set to 140 like your video but my mixing is not great, I can have 2 points drop off the swash leveller during travel, my links are correct length, I keep going back to the swash levelling and doing again and get perfect but I cannot get past the test in pitch range, am I doing something wrong here ? I’m setting up a Align 470LM
It sounds like your Servo center ( neutral ) may be off on one or two of the servos. In theory… if all three servos were a perfect true 90 deg. Then they are geared to travel the same amount positive and negative. In this case the only factor that could cause un level travel would be your link arm length. If they are all equal ( or to the spec ) then I would re visit the Servo centers and work your way back up the main rotor.
Thank you for taking the time to give advice !
Thank you Freddy. I needed this information.
Amazing !!! Thanks for the comment :)
Every time I have issues with my helis..... its FreddyCanFly to the rescue.... cheers Freddy!! 5 Star from me. 👍

Hello, are you not answering questions right now?
Does the lefthand stick forwards and backwards motion also do throttle on some helis? Or is the throttle always constant and it only does collective?
